Read the terms governing Bot Harbour datasets, services, accounts, payments, permitted use, intellectual property, restrictions, and support.

Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Bot Harbour ("the platform", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the platform.

Use of the platform

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you are of legal age and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Account credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

Dataset licensing

When you purchase a dataset, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that dataset for your internal business purposes. This license includes the right to: Download and store the dataset for your own use; Integrate the data into your own applications, tools, or analysis workflows; Create derivative works (analyses, reports, models) based on the data.

License restrictions

The license does not permit you to: Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the raw dataset to third parties; Share your download credentials or links with users outside your organisation; Represent the dataset as your own original work. Enterprise licensing for redistribution or multi-team access is available. Contact us to discuss.

Payments & refunds

All prices are displayed in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout where required by law. Payments are processed securely via our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.

Refund requests

We offer refunds in the following circumstances: The dataset materially misrepresents the advertised content (wrong field count, inaccurate source, significantly different record volume); A technical failure prevents you from downloading the purchased file. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase via the contact form. We review all requests fairly and aim to respond within two business days.

Intellectual property

The Bot Harbour platform, including its design, code, branding, and non-data content, is the exclusive property of Bot Harbour and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the platform itself. Dataset content is licensed to you as described above; ownership remains with Bot Harbour or the original data provider as applicable.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: Attempt to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download platform content through automated means; Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code to the platform; Circumvent any access controls, authentication measures, or rate limits; Use the platform for any illegal activity or to infringe third-party rights; Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation. Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

Disclaimers

Datasets are provided "as is" and "as available". While we make every effort to ensure accuracy and completeness, we do not warrant that datasets are error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on data obtained through the platform, including business, financial, or technical decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bot Harbour shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the platform or any dataset, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine that you have violated these terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your license to any previously purchased datasets remains in effect for your personal copies, but you will lose access to your account and download links.
